Tian Lipu, named as one of the “50 influential people in global intellectual property in 2006”

 

Mr. Tian Lipu, the Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China, is nominated as one of the “50 influential people in global intellectual property in 2006” by the Management of Intellectual Property. That is the first time for Mr. Tian to have the honor and the fourth year for the magazine to sponsor such event.

The Britain-based Management of Intellectual Property is an internally known magazine in intellectual property field. Among the 50 people selected by the magazine, they are four from China, namely Mr. Tian Lipu, Mdm. Wu Yi, the Vice Primer of China, Mr Zheng Chengsi, a professor of the Law Institute of China Academy of Social Sciences; and Zhang Wei’an, the senior legal adviser on intellectual property of GE in Asia. They all have contributed a lot to China’s intellectual property protection.
