Commissioner Wang Jingchuan was elected as one of the Top Ten Talents of Science and Technology of 2004 In China

 

In the Series Events of Ten National Talents Election which was co-sponsored by the General Office of the China Talents Semimonthly, the UNESCO Office to the People’s Republic of China, Peking University, China Youth Daily, China Reform News, CETV, Sohu website and MSTV (Macao Satellite TV), Mr. Wang Jingchuan, Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China, was elected as one of the Top Ten Talents of Science and Technology of 2004 in China. Thus, Mr. Wang became one of the 100 most prominent national talents of 2004 in China together with Qian Weichang, Li Jinhua, Chen Yuan, Qiu Xiaohua, Fan Xulitai, Bao Qifan, Qin Huanming, etc.

On January 30, 2005, the Series of Ten National Talents of 2004 Awards Presentation Ceremony was held at the hall of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC). Vice chairman of the National People's Congress, Simayi?Aimaiti, vice chairmen of the CPPCC, Zhang Siqing, Luo Haocai, Zhou Tienong, Abulaiti?Abudurexitijibuhe, Tiemu’er?Dawamaiti, Sunfuling, Zhu Guangya, Chen Jinhua , Wang Wenyuan, were all presented and awarded the prizes to the Prominent talents elected.

The Series of Ten National Talents of 2004  was composed of Talents of Innovation, Talents of Honesty and Reliability , Talents of finance and economics,Talents of Education, Talents of Science and Technology, Talents of Trademarks, Talents of Arts, Talents of Women, Talents of Real Estate, Talents of Private Enterprises. All talents elected have some common features: having both ability and moral integrity, making great contributions to the society, gaining remarkable achievements in invention and innovation.
