Celebrating the 20 th anniversary of the promulgation of the Chinese Patent Law, the SIPO will hold the Second China International Patent and Famous Brands Expo to be Held in Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 17 to 20, 2004. 

The Expo, co-sponsored by the SIPO and Qingdao People's Government, is an continuation and development of the China Patented Technology Expo and China New Patented Technologies and Products Expo, which were organized by the China Patent Information Center and China Intellectual Property News.  It is a high-profile gathering in the IPR circle with extensive influence and large scale.  The principles of the Expo are to establish an platform for the acceleration of commercialization of new technologies and product circulation, offer technology investment opportunities and offer opportunities to establish companies owning famous brands. 

Providing both comprehensive exhibition and professional exhibition, the Expo will consist of exhibit areas like patent trial cities, famous companies with patented technologies, companies owning well-known marks, famous and excellent new technologies and transaction area for patented and new technologies.  The attendants of the Expo may also select China Top 10 Companies with Patented Technologies and Top 10 Chinese Companies with Good Trademarks.
