Invited by the Yunnan Intellectual Property Office (YIPO), the Law Sub-Committee of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan People's Congress discussed with YIPO on the implementation of the projected Yunnan Patent Protection Regulation (the Regulation) and legislation of patent and other IPR laws.

After hearing the introduction by YIPO on the latest developments of patent work, legislative work of the Regulation, the representatives of the sub-committee offered some advice and suggestions.  This meeting facilitated the mutual understanding of the two institutions and would play an effective role in improving the legal protection environment of IPR in Yunnan Province.
