By the internet, the patent applicant is able to interview the patent examiners far in Beijing, and the concerned party may also search for the legal status of the patent.

 

This is the first long distance interview and searching system launched by SIPO in Guangzhou Receiving Office. The system uses the modern technology and make it possible to share the data between the national office and the local offices.  It may help the patent applicants and patent agents to interview paten examiners. The applicants and agents can also search for the legal status of the patent applications and the submitting of the fees. The public and concerned parties may search for the legal status of the patent right, the withdrawal or the termination of the patent.
