To implement national strategies of innovation-driven development and intellectual property development and provide better services for technological innovation-based enterprises, Patent Information Service Center of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Coastline Science Park and Gaochuangcn held the VC Meeting and International Technological Cooperation Meeting on Intellectual Property and Financial Capital.

The VC Meeting invited domestic and overseas intellectual property experts, financial experts, science experts and scholars, as well as 15 VC companies and three industry associations, and carried out promotion of intellectual property policies, commercial training, intellectual property practice, international project cooperation and roadshow of excellent projects from Gaochuangcn. The VC Meeting harvested a number of fruitful results, signing a cooperation agreement on international technology transfer center and a cooperation agreement on intellectual property service strategy for international technology transfer. These agreements will facilitate exploiting technology and industrialization of outstanding projects, provide patent information services for international projects and enhance cooperation on international technology transfer. The eight patent projects that participated in the roadshow all received investment letter of intent from investment institutions.

The VC Meeting is part of the 2017 Pilot Scheme co-organized by Patent Information Service Center of Jiangsu Province and financial organizations. The 2017 Pilot Scheme will cooperate with hundreds of domestic listed companies, venture capital firms, with focus on Jiangsu's emerging strategic industries, to search for pilot projects and provide services for innovation and entrepreneurship. The combining of intellectual property projects and capital will facilitate the industrialization of innovative achievements and transform "intelligence" into "capital".
