The Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province and Suning.com unveiled the nameplate for the Suning Intellectual Property (IP) Protection Center which was the first full-function IP protection system for e-commerce platform launched by Jiangsu Province.

The Suning Intellectual Property (IP) Protection Center will provide convenient and transparent service of IP infringement report and complaint for patent, trademark and copyright holders in which situation complex cases can be handed over to the State Intellectual Property Aid (Jiangsu) Center. As a leading e-commerce company in Jiangsu, Suning.com undertakes Jiangsu's first IP protection project for e-commerce platforms and the IP Protection Center rolled out this time further develops and improves project results.

The Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province started to establish IP protection projects for e-commerce platforms and asked e-commerce platforms to establish IP management institutions and systems, build IP information management system and improve IP infringement report and complaint mechanism. Currently, seven e-commerce platforms in Jiangsu have started this project.
