Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C (SIPO) officially proved to establish the China Chengdu (Home Furnishing and Shoes) IPR Rapid Aid Center.

China Chengdu (Home Furnishing and Shoes) IPR Rapid Aid Center was established specifically in response to the fast updating speed of industrial design circle of the home furnishings and shoes and its strong needs for fast-protection of Intellectual Property Right (IPR). Through establishing a “Green Channel” of fast patent authorization, fast verification of patent right and fast-protection of IPR, it will enhance working efficiency by largely reducing the time of patent authorization and settlement of patent disputes. The time of patent authorization for home furnishings and shoes, which previously took several months, would drop to less than one month, with the quickest being less than one week.
