Dec.5 -- Recently, the 2016 Bank Docking Enterprise Fair on Intellectual Property (IP) Pledge Financing was held at the Ningbo Innovation Center. The conference gave a general introduction about the development of patent pledge financing business in Ningbo, popularized patent pledge financing products, held exchange activity on work experience of patent pledge financing and held on-site matchmaking between banks and enterprises. Persons-in-charge of related departments of the Ningbo Intellectual Property Office and the Ningbo Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China attended the conference and delivered speeches.

Patent pledge financing is an important implementation to promote the transformation from "intellectual property" to "financial property" and practically assist the innovative development and transformation and upgrade of enterprises. The person-in-charge of the Ningbo Intellectual Property Office said that through multiple policies and implementations, such as loan with discounted interest, risk compensation and building matchmaking platform for banks and enterprises, Ningbo is actively exploring and promoting patent pledge financing, and has effectively helped the financing development of a batch of small and medium enterprises. There are successful cases of patent pledge financing in Fenghua city, Yuyao city, Gaoxin and Yinzhou districts. He also said that the conference was aimed to strengthen communication between banks, insurance companies and enterprises with patent pledge financing needs and provide them a matchmaking platform. It is also expected to boost development of the science and technology financial services in aspects such as the appraisal and trading of IP.    

After the conference, enterprises conducted face-to-face communication with financial institutions and appraisal agencies based on their own needs.
