Shanghai: Intl Specialist Center to be Built

 

Nov.30 (China Daily) -- The local government has vowed to build the municipality into an intellectual property center for the Asia-Pacific region by 2020, said Lyu Guoqiang, head of the city's IP administration. During the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), Lyu said Shanghai will further encourage the use of the Madrid System for registering trademarks, the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the international registration of industrial design, and build a prewarning mechanism to safeguard overseas IP rights. 2016-11-30
