Beijing

During the 10th China Patent Week, Beijing IP Office signed a strategic co-operation frame agreement with Beijing Patent Examination Cooperation Center under SIPO, held conference to release analysis results in key industries and held conference to discuss issues and promote intellectual property alliances in key industries. During the event, Shanghai Intellectual Property Office showed 60 technological achievements both for military-use and civil-use. Shanghai Office published the projects on China Intellectual Property News, websites and new medias to show the projects in more methods, trying to join the demands from the investors and the inventors. During the event, Jiangsu carried out a variety of activities around the theme of improving intellectual property operation and enhancing a new road for IP thriving companies. Jiangsu Intellectual Property Office held an online exhibition of patent technology based on the four national patent technology exhibition and exchange centers in the province, to improve the exchange, implement and industralization of patent technologies. Xinjiang

The Urumqi science and technological bureau gave training to over 120 patent service providers from Nov 21 to 27 as part of China's 10th patent week.

Liu Shanjiu, an authority from the State Intellectual Property Office, detailed patent-related policies and the impact on local companies of the policy of cutting patent filling fees effective Sept 1 this year.

Another lecturer, Li Xiliang, a national intelligence property rights expert, made speeches on mass entrepreneurship and innovation and patent formation and distribution.

The training received active feedback not only from those in attendance but also from others not present as it was live-broadcast on Zhangmen, a knowledge sharing platform.
