Nov.16 -- Recently, the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province held a promotion conference for high-quality patent cultivation throughout the province in Nanjing. Director Zhi Suping, Deputy Director Shi Wei and Sub-inspector of the Nanjing Science and Technology Commission Huang Rong attended the conference and delivered speeches. Over 170 persons-in-charge from 17 high-quality patent cultivation demonstration centers, intellectual property (IP) competitive enterprises and colleges and IP service agencies attended the conference.
　　
The Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province started the cultivation project for high quality patent since last year and has established 17 high-quality patent cultivation demonstration centers. Zhi Suping fully affirmed the progress the demonstration centers had obtained, and hoped that they place more emphasis on the cultivation of high-quality patents, grasp its connotation and attach importance to the crucial steps in cultivating high-qualitypatents. Zhi Suping also expressed the hope that the centers stick to the principle of open and innovation and improve cooperative mechanism for cultivating high value patent in order to form strong alliance and complement each other’s advantages, hence raising the patent quality in Jiangsu and building Jiangsu into an IP strong province.

The conference also invited famous IP lecturers to provide tutorship on the exploration of high- quality patent and its layout and strengthening the process management of patent invention. (Translated from SIPO Website Chinese Version)
