Sep.28 -- Recently, Manager of the Department of Innovation Research of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Hirano Akiko, Manager of the Department of the Intellectual Property Management Tsuchiya Eri and Manager of the Department of Industrial-Academic Collaboration Shibano Howa visited the Dalian Intellectual Property Service Center. Related officials and persons-in-charge of the Dalian Intellectual Property Service Center and the Technology R&D Institute of the Dalian University of Technology met with the delegation.

Person-in-charge of the Dalian Intellectual Property Service Center gave a detailed introduction about the exhibition areas and the abundant trading achievements of the 2016 China International Patent Fair (CIPF) and invited the JST to continue to follow and participate in the CIPF to be held next year. The JST delegation spoke highly of the 2016 CIPF and said that they were particularly impressed by the pavilion hosted by the college students and teenager, and hoped that they could adopt experience from it so as to promote innovation and creativeness among Japanese teenagers. The delegation also invited colleges and research institutions of Dalian to participate in the “Innovative Japan” held in Tokyo every year with the purpose of strengthening ties between the two regions and promoting communication in areas such as technology innovation and talent cultivation.
