Guangdong: Counselor at the JIPA Kazushi Takemoto Visited the Guangdong Intellectual Property Office

 

Sep.7 -- Recently, counselor at the Japan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA) Kazushi Takemoto visited the Guangdong Intellectual Property Office with 5 other JIPA staff. Representatives from the Coordination and Cooperation Division of the Guangdong Intellectual Property Office and Guangdong Intellectual Property Society (GIPS) held talks with the delegation. The two sides discussed matters on collaboratively hosting the 2017 Intellectual Property Symposium (Guangdong) for Cooperation Between Chinese and Japanese Enterprises.

Founded in 1938, the JIPA is a competent non-governmental organization with the goal of thoroughly researching intellectual property (IP) systems–domestic and overseas–and putting them into flexible utilization, facilitating the development of JIPA members and making contributions to technological progress and industry development. Up to now, it has 938 members (counted by enterprise), including large enterprises such as Hitachi, Toyota, Honda and Panasonic as well as IP agencies and law firms.
