Aug.16 -- Hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Intellectual Property Office of Shaanxi, a training course on IPR for travel railway was held successfully at Xi'an recently.

The development of travel railway industry is an important measure taken by the Shaanxi Province for the promotion of overall innovation in Shaanxi, cultivation of new economic growth point and building of an economic upgrading version of Shaanxi. Focusing on the potential problems that might be encountered during the implementation of travel railway projects, experts attending the course gave a comprehensive lecture on the reexamination of intellectual property (IP) system under the international perspective, the application of patent information in key projects and the standard of IP protection technology and patent strategy. Targeted and reasonable in design, the course was able to provide solutions to the trainees and help them enhance their expertise. Through the training, departments participating in the projects raised their IP protection awareness, and technical staffs learnt the important role IP strategic layout played in key national projects.
