Shanghai: Training Courses in IP Work for Industrial Parks Held

 

Jul.26 -- Recently, Shanghai held training courses in IP work for industrial parks. Director-General of Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration Lu Guoqiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Lu Guoqiang pointed out that it was important to embrace the new situation and new missions of present day intellectual property (IP) work and to resolutely implement the Implement Opinions concerning Strengthening IP Application and Protection to Promote Technology and Innovation Centers released by the municipal committee and government; to fill the shortcoming and to ensure implementation therefore giving full play to IP's supporting role in promoting technology and innovation centers; and to ensure that objectives set in the beginning of the year be finished through means such as benchmarking important dates on the working schedule of the annual key projects, promoting the progress vigorously and being strict in implementation.

The training course had invited experts from related areas to give lessons in patent operation practices, capitalized management of IP in enterprises and management and operation of IP in industrial parks. At the ceremony, participants held discussions on the work progress in industrial parks.
