BEIJING, Jun.12 (China Daily) -- Activities will be held on China Cultural Heritage Day on June 11 to promote the integration of intangible cultural heritage items with contemporary life and the commercialization of traditional craftsmanship, according to the Ministry of Culture. Officials said integrating intangible cultural items with modern society is both key to their protection and also a great challenge. They called for the introduction of a range of measures to aid the integration process.
