BEIJING, May.26 (China Daily) -- The centrally administered State-owned enterprises owned about 100,000 invention patents by 2014, with the number of annual applications increasing 30 percent on average since 2011, according to a news conference of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission last week. Over the same period, their total research and development investment increased from 270 billion yuan ($41.2 billion) to 350 billion yuan.
