BEIJING, Apr.28 (China Daily) -- Changsha's Intellectual Property Office has organized IP training lessons for managers of local enterprises, Changsha Evening News reported.
The first Changsha intellectual property (IP) advanced training class for entrepreneurs was recently opened in the Changsha High-tech Zone to increase their awareness of IP rights, said a principal of the office. Executives of more than 50 enterprises in the city will begin formal training in the fields of IP situations, patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secrets and administrative judicature protection on Wednesdays until the completion of the course in early June.
The training classes are free to the entrepreneurs as the costs will be disbursed from the IP special fund set up by Changsha's finance sector. They are scheduled to open biannually to cultivate a group of business leaders having IP awareness and ready to contribute to Changsha's innovative development in the near future, said officials.
