Jiangxi: Authority's Plans Lay Out Ambitious Five-year Targets

 

The Jiangxi IP authority issued plans that lay out the province's IP strategy between 2015 and 2020. According to the plans, the number of patent applications will increase at an average annual rate of 25 percent. Companies in the province will contribute more than 30 percent of total invention patent filings by 2020, when they will have at least 100,000 trademarks. The total value of IP pledges will reach 1 billion yuan ($157.8 million), according to the plans.
