Luo Jin, an entrepreneur in Shenzhen, received his fourth patent certificate from the United States Patent and Trademark Office on Saturday. The patent is about using at least one detachable solar panel to generate electricity for laptops and protect display screens from sunshine. The invention was originally aimed at photographers who often work outdoors, said Luo. Two of his USPTO-patented inventions have been industrialized.
