UK, Alibaba Remove Fake Products from Website

 

The China-Britain Business Council and the Hangzhou-headquartered e-commerce giant Alibaba Group have removed counterfeit products valued at more than 8 million pounds ($12.3 million) from the Alibaba website since September 2014 when they formed a partnership, said Baroness Neville-Rolfe, the UK minister for Intellectual Property, at a Sino-British IP seminar in London. The minister also announced an annual investment of 65 million pounds for China-Britain IP research at the seminar.
