Guangdong: Fake Earphone Seller Caught by Police

A man in Shaoguan was arrested for selling counterfeit earphones that involved potential retail value of more than 30 million yuan ($4.7 million). When local industry and commerce authorities raided an illegal factory making earphones in late January, they found 50,000 had fake Nike, Adidas, Skullcandy and Samsung trademarks. In July, police caught the factory owner, who said he purchased the counterfeit products online in September 2014.
