Shadow play performances with the theme of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression were shown in Wuhan on Saturday on the second stop of the shadow play tour. The tour, which started in Shaoshan, Hunan province, is to commemorate the 70th anniversary of victory in the war and promote intangible cultural heritage in China. The shows were popular with local audiences. Organizers said that there will be similar performances in other cities including Beijing and Nanjing.
