An intellectual property incubation center was unveiled recently at Xiamen University, a joint effort by the school's tech park and the Xiamen IP Office. The office is funding the project, extending financial support to companies with patented technologies and offering information and management services as well as legal aid, while the university is offering its technological expertise to help tech startups grow.
