In the latest move toward an innovation-driven economy, Ningbo launched an online patent exchange portal last week to help share information between companies and patent owners, said Hong Jiqing, head of the province's intellectual property office. The portal also provides patent exhibitions, matchmaking, financing and patent evaluation.
