Guangdong: Chinese Viagra to Hit Market

Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Co announced that it would launch Jinge, the Chinese version of Viagra, by the end of October. Baiyunshan is the nation's first company to receive approval from the China Food and Drug Administration to make sildenafil citrate, a generic erectile dysfunction medicine, after US based Pfizer Inc's patent for the medicine, under the brand name Viagra, expired in China in May.
