Beijing


Sources from the State Forestry Bureau recently said that China would attach a great importance in self-innovation and IPR during the development of forestry industry by launching a group of strategy planing and key technology research projects.

Shanghai


After the assessment by the Shanghai promotion committee on IPR-advanced company, the Shanghai Wentai Electrical S&T and other 21 companies were rated Shanghai IPR-advanced Company in 2013.


Jiangsu


In a bid to provide strong IPR support to companies in the province, Jiangsu IP Office will continue to step up IP talent training in 2014. In 2013, the office conducted 16 such training programs for 3,090 persons.


Fujian


In 2013, Fujian province filed 53,701 patent applications, up 25.55%, 37,511 patents were granted. At the end of 2013, each 10,000 citizen have owned 2.783 invention patents, ranking the 11th in China.

Zhejiang

Since Nanxun District of Zhejiang Province begin to promote the use of patent service ticket, the number of patent application filed in 2013 reached 2816, up 55.92%, 646 of which were for inventions, up 62.72%.

Henan


Recently, Henan IP Office, the Department of Education of Henan jointly identified Henan No.2 Experimental Middle School and other 19 schools as the first group of IP education bases in the province.

Guangxi


Sources from Guangxi IP Office said that Guangxi witnessed a fast growth in invention application. In 2013, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region filed 14,300 invention applications, up 121% year-on-year.
