Zhejiang: Live Tissue 3D Printer Debuts

China's first domestically developed 3D printer capable of printing out human tissues and other biomaterials was recently unveiled in the provincial capital Hangzhou. The developer, Hangzhou Dianzi University, callls the printer Regenovo and said it has successfully "printed" human ear cartilage and liver cells in smaller proportions by using biocompatible polymers, inorganic material, hydrogel and live cells as raw materials.
