A meeting about intellectual property cooperation between Guangdong province and Hong Kong was held last week in Guangzhou. Both sides agreed to strengthen and expand cooperation. Peter Cheung, director of the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department, said at the meeting that IP trade between the two sides will be the focus next year. There will also be seminars and exchanges about IP commercialization to help "upgrade" industries.
