China (Henan) IPR Assistance Center Opens in Ruzhou

 

Henan province got a new intellectual property rights (IPR) center in the city of Ruzhou, with an opening ceremony on July 10, and Lu Yi, of the State Intellectual Property Office, Han Ping, deputy director of the Henan intellectual property bureau, and Liu Weidong, head of the China (Henan) IPR Assistance Center, on hand to celebrate.

Han spoke at the opening ceremony where he explained that the Ruzhou branch is important as Henan's first county-level branch, and part of the effort to provide more intellectual property rights assistance.

The Intellectual Property Office's Lu described a training effort under the title 'A new patent management strategy' for the participants.

Zhang Jianqi, the vice-mayor of Ruzhou, described how, in future, the city will improve and increase the use of intellectual property rights for creativity by focusing on property rights assistance.

Han and Zhang presided over the inauguration ceremony.

Also on hand for the event were Ji Xinhe, head of the Pingdingshan intellectual property bureau, Shi Qingxiu, a member of the Ruzhou technology bureau standing committee, Zhao Jianfeng, director of the Ruzhou science and technology bureau, managers from various county-level science and technology bureaus, and representatives of various businesses.
