The provincial intellectual property office announced its first-ever list of patent award winners in December. Eight were honored with gold prizes and 19 received second prizes. Together, the wining projects generated more than 34.8 billion yuan in sales in industries ranging from chemicals to steel, car engines, general machinery and railway building materials.
