Liaoning: Teachers Bribed on Fake Books

 

The public security bureau in Shenyang recently arrested a suspect surnamed Zuo for allegedly bribing teachers to help sell pirated books to students.

Police said Zuo from Suning county, Hebei province, paid 18,000 yuan ($2,830) in bribes to teachers at many high schools in Shenyang from 1998 to 2012. The 100,000 pirated books brought in an estimated 1.4 million yuan.
