Quality inspection and commerce authorities in Ledong county raided a local beverage company last week that was allegedly producing fake branded drinks.

Enforcement officials said they found more than 600 cases of herbal tea carrying fake brands.

The packaging looked the same as genuine Yeshu and Master Kong teas, which are famous on the Chinese drinks market.

Samples of the seized beverages have been sent to a laboratory to check quality.
