Preparation of an international copyright and creative culture industrial park gets underway in Qingdao in a bid to promote copyright exchanges between China, Japan and South Korea and integrate international copyright resources, according to the Qingdao International Copyright Trade Center.
The trade center provides verification, registration, transaction, protection and financing for intellectual property rights and creative works. It has inked agreement with more than 30 Qingdao animation and software companies, the center's president An Bo said.
The center has a program database covering almost all the culture industrial categories, including audio-visual works, entertainment, anime games, cyber culture, media and publishing, tourism, cultural facilities, arts and crafts.
An said many creative works tap global market through the trade center, by which a famous foreign oil painting was introduced to a domestic wine manufacturer as a wine label.
In addition, the trade center mulls to bid for the first national copyright industry expo targeting markets of China, Japan and South Korea.
