Beijing: New Additions to Intangible Heritage

Forty-one companies and organizations were for the first time listed as state-level "demonstration bases" of intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture on Jan 31.

Their selection means favorable policies and funding "to keep the reality, integrity and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage".

Authorities aim to encourage the production of tangible products based on the age-old skills and traditions.
