A digital copyright trade center recently opened in Tianjin's Binhai New Area, the first of its kind in the city.

Founded by four local companies including a law firm and a high-tech company, the center is designed as a stage for animation production studios to show their latest products as well as a link between studios, investors and publishing houses.

Now mainly trading copyrights for online and mobile phone games, the center plans to later start services for exchange of animation and cartoon copyrights.
