Beijing: Nationwide 'Drawn Sword' Campaign

 

The Ministry of Public Security initiated a nationwide operation against intellectual property (IP) infringement at the beginning of September that will last until the end of the year.

The effort named Liangjian - or Drawn Sword - is a "general attack on counterfeited products", the security bureau said.

A special website - http://news.qq.com/zt2011/liangjian - by the Copyright Union of the Internet Society of China, the Ministry of Public Security and QQ.com is online to show the progress in the effort and encourage Web users to provide tips on IP crimes.
