The Bureau of Commerce, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and Intellectual Property Office in Jiangsu Zhenjiang jointly carried out a special inspection towards commodities exported to Africa, to crack down intellectual property violation and making and selling counterfeit and shoddy products. They spot tested Danyang Auto Parts and Dantu District Crafts and other key commodities.

The law enforcement officers mainly investigated into the status of the intellectual property and quality management of the enterprises, and inspected the exported commodities on spot. For those problematic of quality and intellectual property, they required persons in charge to take corrective actions, and set up long-term management, respect the IPR of others, and thus reduce the business operation risk. During the action, sample survey was taken among hundreds of goods exported to Africa, presenting no significant quality problems and no serious violations of IPR.
