Ningbo police recently arrested two suspects for selling counterfeit computer power adapters on the Internet.
The suspects opened an online shop at Taobao in January last year that generated more than 1 million yuan ($152,000) in sales of fake Asus, Toshiba and HP adapters nationwide.
Police seized 1,700 counterfeit adapters with a potential value of 150,000 yuan in two storehouses.
It is reportedly the largest case of its kind in the ongoing crackdown on counterfeits that began last year.
