2010 China International Patent Fair (CIPF) Opens in Dalian World Expo Center in August.

This CIPF was hosted by State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), Liaoning Provincial People's Government and the China International Trade Promotion Committee, undertaken by the Dalian municipal government. The fair exhibition hall and activity areas covered as much as 20,000 square meters with 1000 international standard booth. Delegations from Europe, America, Korea, Japan, Russia and China Hong Kong, Taiwan and other 17 countries and regions, and 43 cities from 23 provinces and autonomous regions participated in the fair. There were more than 5,100 independent patented technological fruits from 1,600 enterprises gathered at the fair.

This Fair highlighted the theme of "New Energy, New Light, New Life". A series of effective and successful trade activity and exchanges such as exhibition and promotion, business talks, forum summit, keynote speeches were held at the fair.
