Recently, Heilongjiang Provincial Intellectual Property Administration participated in the twenty-first China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as Harbin Trade Fair). The administration set up IP service area, taking cases of patent infringement, counterfeiting patents reporting complaints, while actively conducting patent consulting, patent search, patent transfer contract verification and other services, which have gained applause from both domestic and foreign exhibitors.

During the exhibition, Heilongjiang Provincial Intellectual Property Administration Director Chang Cheng, Deputy Director Ma Feng led the law enforcement officers to conduct their work on patented products, and rectified the exhibitors with illegal conducts i.e. non-standard patent specification, using expired patent number, which effectively purified the intellectual property protection of the environment of the exhibition. Heilongjiang IP Administration also set up the 12330 IPR protection assistance and reporting and complaint hotline in Harbin Trade Fair to provide a express way for the patent owners to protect their rights.
