Sixty suspects involved in theft, swindling, and intellectual property rights crimes related to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo were arrested during the first half of this year, a Shanghai procuratorate office said.
No details of the arrests or the investigations were released.
Chen Xu, Shanghai's chief procurator, said the office will continue to investigate Expo-related cases in "a timely and effective manner".
He added that authorities will also ramp up anti-graft efforts to head off commercial bribery and construction fraud during the Expo.
