Liaoning: Prison Time and Fine for Former Executive

 

A former corporate executive who organized manufacture of counterfeit goods has been sentenced one year in prison, given one year probation and ordered to pay a fine of 100,000 yuan.

The court found that Zou Jihui, then assistant chairman of a local Fengcheng company, ordered workers in 2008 to make 50 superchargers and 116 related machined parts with the trademark Garrett "without the consent of the chairman".

The trademark belongs to Honeywell International Inc.

Value of the illegal products was estimated at 61,640 yuan.
