Liuzhou now ranks among the first group of national demonstration cities for trademark implementation, the only city to win the honor in the autonomous region.

Local companies are encouraged to foster, use and market their own brands to improve core competitiveness.

Four brands in the city - LMZ herbal toothpaste, Golden Throat lozenges, Huahong traditional Chinese medicine and Liugong shovel loaders and diggers - are now recognized as nationwide well-known trademarks.

Another 44 local trademarks are recognized as famous in Guangxi.

The city now has 2,775 registered trademarks including 146 in the agricultural sector.
