The autonomous region government recently released a new regulation that will establish legal liability in copyright registration fraud that will take effect on Saturday.

Local authorities will publicly announce copyright holders, works and registration dates.

Since registration began in Inner Mongolia in 1994, more than 2,800 copyrights have been registered, said Gao Jinxiang, vice-chief of the region's bureau of press and publication.
