On April 15, Shanghai 12330 opened its service to IP complaints from Shanghai Expo was officially opened. As of June 4,2010, the 12330 hotline for IPR has totally  received 169 calls, 13 of which were related to the IP complaints, accounting for 8%.

Among the calls, 12330 had handed over 4 cases for trademark, 1 copyright case,1 patent case, 1 case of software and 6 cases of infringing goods and pirated publications to local administration for industry and commerce, copyright administration, IP adminitrations, administration and law enforcement in Shanghai respectively.
