The first monthly open house at the Chengdu intellectual property aid center was held in late May offering visitors the opportunity to consult intellectual property experts and receive assistance from a special fund for foreign patent disputes.

"The monthly public open house will make full use of intellectual and legal aid to better protect legitimate interest of rights holders," said Chen Xu, director of the center.

Each month the date of the open house will be announced on the city's intellectual property website, Chen said.
