With the 2010 World Cup drawing near, Ningbo customs seized a shipment of products suspected to violate the event's trademark rights.
The suspect shipment, which included 225,000 emblems, 8,200 footballs, 22,000 key chains and 4,730 stuffed toys, was found mixed with doormats for intended export to Italy. The footballs were marked with the FIFA and South Africa 2010 World Cup logos, said Li Lizhi, an official of the Ningbo customs.
