Jiangsu: Nanjing Destroys Pirated CDs, Books, Magazines

 

Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, recently destroyed 478,000 pirated CDs and 32,000 books and periodicals.

More than 30 distribution shelters for illegal publications were demolished in the city last year, while 500,000 illegal publications, 470,000 pirated CDs and 8,000 copies of pornographic publications were seized.

Seven cases ended with administrative penalties and 10 people received legal sanctions, of which one was a jail sentence.
